Know Your Neighbour | WESTERN AUSTRALIA

All Perth-based members are invited to join us in September for our next KYN event.

Our Know Your Neighbour or “KYN” events are designed to bring local members together to network and discuss key challenges and opportunities specific to their area.

Hosted by WaterRA, in conjunction with the University of Western Australia – the upcoming event will be held on Monday 2nd September at 2:30pm at the University's EZONE Building.

This is a fantastic opportunity for our members based in Perth to come together, meet one another and discuss common challenges that are specific to Western Australia. Our guest speakers include:

  • Prof Una Ryan, Murdoch University | What is the real risk of cryptosporidium and giardia from animals entering water storages?
  • Prof Caitlin Wyrwoll & Leaf Kardol, UWA | Drinking water quality in Western Australia: A risk factor for pregnancy complications?
  • Dr Christine Jeffries-Stokes AM, RCSWA | What can the Heavy Metal Tooth Fairy tell us about water quality and child health?
  • Anthony Bodycoat, Water Corporation | What’s coming up for drinking water research at Water Corporation

Don’t miss out on this chance to connect with other professionals in your field and gain valuable insights into the latest research happening in WA.

The event is open to WaterRA members and non-members alike however, places are strictly limited so register now to secure your spot!
